On June 27th, Kaizhou District held the "Kaizhou District 2024 Q2 Investment Promotion Project Centralized Signing, Centralized Construction, Centralized Production Activity and Fenghuangliang Bridge and Guanyinshan Tunnel Opening Ceremony" by Hanfeng Lake. Pu Binbin, Secretary of the Kaizhou District Committee, Chen Daobin, Deputy Secretary of the District Committee and Mayor of the District Government, Xia Zhengfeng, Chairman of the District Political Consultative Conference, Chen Huadong, Deputy Secretary of the District Committee, and all leaders from the home district attended the event.

The Fenghuangliang Bridge, as an important passage for fast travel in Kaizhou District, has jointly built and improved the urban road network with the Guanyin Mountain Tunnel. The two projects were constructed by Chongqing Sanyi Construction Group, providing important support for the development of tourism in Hanfeng Lake. They are practical measures taken by the Kaizhou District Committee and Government to adhere to the people-centered approach, create a high-quality life for the people, improve urban functions, boost the regional economic vitality of Kaizhou District, promote the coordinated development of Wanda Kaizhou, and promote the Sichuan Chongqing economy. They are another new achievement of the district committee and government in implementing the project of benefiting the people.

The Fenghuangliang Bridge is located upstream of the Pengxi River, with a length of 1542 meters, a width of 20 meters, and a maximum single span of 150 meters. It is the first super large bridge in the area. The Fenghuangliang Bridge will effectively alleviate the traffic pressure around peak hours, bring convenience to citizens' travel, and have important significance for improving the urban transportation network system and driving the economic development of the northern region.

The Guanyin Mountain Tunnel is located in the west extension of Kaizhou Avenue. The tunnel adopts two separate and separately constructed single hole three lane tunnels with a width of 14m. As the main passage from the urban area to the high-speed railway station, after its opening, the original 20 minute drive from Zheng'an Street to Zhuxi Town only takes about 2 minutes, and from the urban area to the high-speed railway station only takes about 10 minutes. It plays an important role in alleviating local traffic pressure and driving regional economic development.

A centralized signing ceremony for investment promotion projects was held at the event site. With a number of key investment projects signed and put into operation in Kaizhou, as well as the early completion and smooth opening of Fenghuangliang Bridge and Guanyinshan Tunnel, it will continue to inject strong impetus into the economic and social development of Kaizhou, and effectively promote its high-quality development.
